Justina Miles is the first female deaf performer for the Super Bowl halftime show and did an ASL (American Sign Language) rendition of Rihanna's performance on February 12, 2023.

Originally from Philadelphia, she was valedictorian at Model Secondary School for the Deaf in Washington D.C.

Miles has hearing problems since she was a child. Her mother is also deaf and most of her family has people with mixed hearing abilities.

Miles did live ASL interpretations at various concerts. She translated "Lift Every Voice and Sing," performed by Sheryl Lee Ralph during the pregame.

She also represented United States in Deaflympics 2021-2022 in Brazil. She was part of the silver medal winning team in the 4X100 women's track relay event.
