Comedian Mike Epps Arrested for keeping Loaded Gun in Backpack at Airport

Mike Epps, the comedian, was taken into custody at the Indianapolis airport after authorities allegedly discovered a loaded firearm in his backpack, as per various accounts.

On Sunday morning at Indianapolis International Airport, a 52-year-old man was attempting to board a plane when he was found to be carrying a Smith & Wesson .38-calibre pistol in his backpack by TSA officers.

Epps informed law enforcement that he had forgotten the firearm in his backpack.

He had been en route back home following a show at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis the night before, which included performances by D.L. Hughley and Cedric the Entertainer.

Although no arrest was made, the gun was nevertheless taken away.
