Ankita’s journey into the entertainment industry began at a young age. She completed her schooling and graduated in Indore. During her college days, her love for acting led her to perform at festivals like Ganpati Utsav and Navratri. After her graduation, Ankita enrolled in Indore’s Frankfinn Institute to train as an air hostess.
However, her path took a different turn when she auditioned for the talent hunt show “Zee Cinestars Ki Khoj” and was awarded the title of ‘Best Dancer.’ She then ventured into modelling and took part in numerous print shoots.

Ankita’s breakthrough role was as Archana in ‘Pavitra Rishta’ (2009), which made her a household name. She has participated in reality shows like ‘Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 4’ (2011), ‘Comedy Circus’ (2011) and ‘Smart Jodi’ (2022) which she won.
