Tushar Deshpande is an Indian cricketer. He used to play domestic cricket for Mumbai team. Tushar bowls Right-arm medium-fast and bats with left hand. He made his List A debut for Mumbai in the 2018–19 Vijay Hazare Trophy on 19 September 2018. In 2022, he was part of Chennai Super Kings for IPL 2022.
Birth & Early Life
Tushar Deshpande was born on 15 May 1995 in Kalyan, Mumbai to Uday and Vandana Deshpande. He wanted to become a cricketer since childhood. He started teaching cricket along with his schooling. Tushar used to travel daily from Kalyan to Shivaji Park Gymkhana for training and practice. His parents never forbade to play cricket and always encouraged him.
In 2019, when Tushar was playing the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy, his mother died due to cancer. Nevertheless, Tushar played in the match and took 4 wickets for 19 runs and made an important contribution to his team’s victory.

Career
Tushar started cricket by playing for the Under-16 and Under-19 Mumbai team, and plays for the Domestic Cricket India-A team Mumbai. Tushar took five wickets while playing in the 2018-19 List-A Vijay Hazare Trophy. His name was selected in the Duleep Trophy 2019. Tushar was practicing at Shivaji Park, Cricket Academy, which is in Dadar, Mumbai, where once Sachin Tendulkar and Sunil Gavaskar used to practice cricket.
IPL career
Tushar was bought by Delhi Capitals in 2020 for a settled price of Rs. 20 lakh. Then he played 5 matches, when it comes to batting, he scored 21 runs by hitting two fours and 1 six with an average rate of 21.00. And when it comes to bowling, he took 3 wickets for 192 runs and that too by playing with an average rate of 63.75. In 2022, Chennai Super Kings pickup by paying 20 lakhs.
