Career
Shilpa started her career with the Indo-Pakistani film Khamosh Pani (2003), the movie won several awards including the 56th Locarno International Film Fetsival, Switzerland. She also worked in movies like Hazaaron Khwaishein Aisi (2005) and Frozen (2007) etc. She also won the Best Actress Filmfare Critics Award for the movie Chak De! India (2007) and B.A. Pass (2013).
In 2020, Shilpa tried her hands on web series, she worked in web series like MentalHood where she played the role of Namrata Dalmia, the series streamed on Zee5 and ALT Balaji. She also appeared in the web series Hostages and Criminal Justice: Behind Closed Doors, both of which stream on Disney+ Hotstar.
