Joshua Sasse is a British actor, poet and writer. He is best known for playing the character of Sir Galavant in TV series Galavant aired on ABC channel. He has worked in many television series including Rogue, No Tomorrow, and Monarch. In addition, Joshua was seen as Jacques in a film Her Pen Pal in 2021.

Joshua Sasse was born on December 9, 1987 in Westminster, London to poet Dominic Sasse and Mary Rosalind Macauley. He has an elder sister named Lydia Sasse. Joshua’s father died when he was aged 5 on PIA Flight 268, whilst he was travelling to Kathmandu. Later his mother remarried.
Joshua has done schooling from Shrewsbury School and later pursued performing arts at Hurtwood House College. While schooling, he discovered passion towards acting.

Career
Joshua began his acting career with film The Big I Am directed by Nic Auerbach, in which he was seen playing Rixie starring along with Michael Madsen and Leo Gregory. He was subsequently cast for Frankenstein’s Army. From 2013 to 2014, he played the recurring role of Alec Laszlo in TV series Rogue. Joshua got major breakthrough after portraying titular role in TV show Galavant. He was later seen in No Tomorrow as Xavier and Monarch as Luke Roman.
