Harsh Chhaya is an Indian actor who predominately works in Hindi films, television serials and web series. He is popularly known for portraying role of K.K Gupta in Hindi drama film Laaga Chunari Mein Daag alongside Rani Mukerji and Jaya Bachchan. Besides, Harsh has worked in several Hindi films like Dil Pe Mat Le Yaar, Company, Saaya, Janasheen, It’s Breaking News, Mithya, Darbaan etc.
Biography
Harsh Chhaya was born on 2 December 1966 in Bhavnagar, Gujarat. He began his acting career through feature TV serial Tara as Jijo aired on Zee TV in 1993s. Harsh subsequently acted several serials like Dillagi (1993), Tehkikaat (1994), Aahat (1995), Chhoti Si Asha (1999) and many more.
Then, Harsh appeared in Hindi comedy film Dil Pe Mat Le Yaar!! where he played role of Ali in 2000. After that, he appeared in several movies like Company, Dum, Saaya, Janasheen, Ramji Londonwaley, Corporate, Bheja Fry, Red Swastik etc. He is popularly known for appearing in drama film Laaga Chunari Mein Daag as K. K. Gupta. Harsh started alongside Abhishek Bachchan, Rani Mukerji and Jaya Bachchan.
Alongside working in films, he has also worked in TV shows and serials. In 2014, Harsh made his debut in Marathi film Industry with the film A Rainy Day. He has also appeared in Sunny Deol’s film Ghayal: Once Again as Aditya Rajguru in 2016. Then Harsh played a main role in action crime film Satyameva Jayate 2 as Chief Minister Chandra Prakash Maurya. In 2022, Harsh has appeared in spy thriller web series Mukhbir where he played a role of Major General Agha Khan aired on ZEE5.
