Biography
Chum Darang was born on 16 October 1991 in Arunachal Pradesh, India. She began her career as a model in 2007 and won Miss AAPSU in 2010. She was a finalist for North East Diva 2014 and a second finalist for Miss Himalaya 2015. In 2016, she participated and won the title of Miss Earth India Water 2016. She represented India at the 2017 Miss Asia World beauty competition and won a sub-title, Miss Internet. Darang also holds the crown of Miss Tiara India International 2017.
Chum began her career with the television crime-thriller series Paatal Lok in 2020. She debuted with the comedy-drama movie Badhaai Do as Chenakki, Suman’s girlfriend starring alongside Rajkumar Rao and Bhumi Pednekar.
