Moon Banerrjee was born on 23 April 1969 in Kolkata, West Bengal. Moon started her career with the television series Saturday Suspense- Duplicate as Neha in 1997. From 1998 to 1999, he acted in the series Chashme Baddoor as Shanta. She performed in the series Kkusum as Ruhi Kapoor on Sony tv from 2001 to 2002. In 2005, she appeared in the supernatural-thriller serial Rooh as Priya.
From 2005 to 2007, Moon starred in the Balaji Telefilm’s show Kasautii Zindagii Kay as Sampada Anurag Basu. Meanwhile, she also played the role of Shraddha Ansh Virani in the show Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi. Moon appeared as ACP Neha in the 2007 show Risshton Ki Dor starring Urvashi Dholakia and Anuj Saxena. The show based on the emotion of the human mind and its feelings. Her other notable shows are Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aisa, Muskaan and Muskuraane Ki Vajah Tum Ho.
