Career
Nabanita embarked on her acting career as a supporting actress in the serial Agomoni. Her talent soon shone brightly in Colors Bangla’s drama serial Aponjon, where she portrayed the character Shiuli from 2015 to 2017. However, it was her role as Aishwarya, or Mimi, in the romantic drama serial Ei Chheleta Bhelbheleta that catapulted her to stardom. Directed by Saibal Banerjee, this serial starred her alongside Prapti Chatterjee and Somraj Maity.
Her journey continued with supporting roles in Koushik Roy’s serial Punyi Pukur, where she played Aratrika and Mimi, and Subrata Roy’s serial Manasa, where she portrayed Saraswati.
In 2018, Nabanita took on the lead role of Lokkhipriya in Colors Bangla’s drama serial Mahaprabhu Shri Chaitanya. She continued to impress with her performance in the 2021 romantic drama serial Sagar Jyoti as Jyoti, a girl from a middle-class family entangled in love with Sagar, who hails from a wealthy background.
Nabanita appeared in Anup Chakraborty’s drama serial Neem Phooler Madhu, playing the supporting role of Tinni alongside Manosi Sengupta, Pallavi Sharma, and Rubel Das.
