Roan Curtis is a Canadian actress and producer. She is best known for her performance as Yong Kate Mularkey in popular television series Firefly Lane (2021). Curtis has played main character in many television series like The Magicians (2015), Charmed (2021) and Before I Fall (2017). She is originally from Vancouver, British Columbia.

Biography

Roan Curtis was born February 1, 1996 in Canada. She is daughter of entrepreneur Kildare Curtis and Stephanie Butler. She has a younger sister Ruby Curtis and brother Kasper Curtis. Curtis began her career at the age of 10 and first appeared in television series The L Word in 2007. She later played Young Chloe Sullivan’s character on Smallville, aired on The CW channel.

Curtis played important role of Emma Gilbert in TV show Shut Eye created by Leslie Bohem, airing on the streaming service Hulu. She subsequently got opportunity to play important roles in TV series like The Magicians, The Good Doctor and Charmed. In 2021, she was seen portraying the character of Firefly Lane, alongside Sarah Chalke and Katherine Heigl. The series is based on the best-selling book by Kristin Hannah, Firefly Lane follows the decades-long friendship between Kate (Sarah Chalke) and her best friend, Tully (Katherine Heigl).

In addition to these roles, Curtis had smaller parts in movies like To Die For, Daughter, In God I Trust and Girl on a Bus.
