Career
In 2009, Roshni Rastogi began her acting journey as a theatre artist in Lucknow. After three years of working in theatre there, she moved to Mumbai. She took her first steps in the Hindi entertainment industry in 2011 when she appeared in the TV show “Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon” as Preetika, also known as Preeto.
In 2013, she acted in the Channel V Hindi show called “Crazy Stupid Ishq.” Her big break came in 2015 when she played the character Rani Chauhan Agarwal/Raniya in the StarPlus TV show “Mere Angne Mein.”
While working on “Mere Angne Mein,” Roshni also appeared in a Gujarati film. In 2017, she got a lead role in a Hindi short film called “Songs of Separation.” In 2018, she took on the role of the antagonist Urvashi Vinayak Kundra in the daily soap “Siddhivinayak,” which she worked on until 2019. Later, she joined the cast of the Star Bharat soap opera “Ishq Sufiyana.” In 2023, she appeared in the TV show Suhaagan in which she portrayed the character Rekha.
