Megha Parmar is the first woman mountaineer from Madhya Pradesh to climb Mount Everest. After successfully climbing Mount Everest, she made her way to Europe’s highest summit, Mount Elbrus. Megha is the brand ambassador of the Beti Bachao-Beti Padhao campaign of the MP Government. 

Biography

Megha Parmar was born in Sehore district of Madhya Pradesh. She completed her training at the Bihari Vajpayee Institute of Mountaineering and The Himalayan Mountaineering Institute Darjeeling.  Parmar became the first female mountaineer in her state who climbed Mount Everest, the tallest mountain in the world. She also climbed Mt Kilimanjaro in Africa as well as Mt Elbrus in Europe.
