Gayathry Rajiv is an Indian Singer who hails from Kakkanad, Kerala. She grabbed headlines for appearing in the renowned television reality show Indian Idol 14 as a contestant but unfortunately, she was eliminated from the show on 12 November 2023. Biography
Gayathry Rajiv was born on November 25th in Kakkanad, Kerala. She went to St.Paul’s International School, Kalamassery for her high school education. After finishing high school, Gayathry studied at the School of Engineering at Cochin University of Science and Technology. Currently, she is studying at IIT Bhubaneswar where she has been since 2020.
Gayathry is originally from Kerala but moved to Odisha for her studies at IIT Bhubaneswar. She has progressed from her early education in Kerala to pursuing her higher studies at two renowned institutions, Cochin University and IIT Bhubaneswar.
During her studies, Gayathry developed an interest in singing. She began singing cover songs from Malayalam cinema and uploading them to her YouTube channel and other social media platforms. Later, she started working with an orchestra where she displayed her vocal talent. This led to Gayathry being featured as a contestant on some Malayalam singing reality shows.
In November 2023, she gained immense popularity after appearing as a contestant on the most popular reality show Indian Idol. She was featured as the 15th contestant but was the first to be eliminated on 12 November 2023 during Indian Idol Season 14.
