His uncle Yogendra Singh Yadav is an election analyst and a politician. His uncle, along with Prashant Bhushan, started the Swaraj Abhiyan organization, which is doing a lot of work regarding the serious problems of the farmers. Jayant has tied the knot with his long-term girlfriend Disha Chawla.

Career
Jayant’s father sent him to a local cricket academy of Delhi to learn cricket, where he received training to play cricket. Het made his IPL debut in 2015. From 2015 to 2017, Delhi had included Jayant in their team for Rs 10 lakh.
In 2018, Jayant’s IPL price raised from 10 lakhs to 50 lakhs, even then he was again included in their team by Delhi Capitals. From 2019 to 2021, Jayant played for Mumbai Indians, the team that won five IPL trophies. In 2022, Jayant was bought by the IPL team Gujarat Titans for Rs. 1.50 crore.
