She is known for playing the lead role in the Marathi television serial Jai Malhar as Banu (2014-17) and Majhya Navaryachi Bayko as Shanaya Sabnis (2018-20). She began her acting career by first featuring in Marathi Film We Are On! Houn Jau Dya in 2013. Birth & Early Life
Isha Keskar was born on 11 November 1991 in Pune, Maharasthra. She is the beloved daughter of Medha and Chaitanya Keskar.
Isha attended the esteemed Sinhagad School in Pune. After completing her secondary education, she went to Symbiosis College where she earned her graduation degree in psychology.
Career
After completing her studies Isha moved to Mumbai where she started appearing in Modelling and Dancing Competitions. In 2013, she made her debut in the Marathi Film Industry by playing a minor role in the comedy-drama film We Are On! Houn Jau Dya which was directed by Amol Palekar
Isha got the opportunity to play a lead role in Zee Marathi’s Mythological serial Jai Malhar as Banu in 2014-17. The serial story is based on Lord Martanda Bhairava aka Khandoba and was directed by Kartik Kendhe and Avinash Waghmare.
After gaining popularity, Isha got one more lead role in Zee Marathi’s soap opera Majhya Navaryachi Bayko as Shanaya Sabnis by replacing Rasika Sunil in 2018-21.
Later, she featured in many Marathi Films like Yala Jeevan Aise Naav (2016), Girlfriend (2019), Sher Shivraj (2022) and Sarla Ek Koti (2023).
In November 2023, Isha was seen in Star Parvah’s romantic drama serial Laxmichya Paulanni as Kalanidhi Khare aka Kala alongside Adwait Chandekar. The serial is a remake of the Bengali soap opera Gaatchora.
Isha grabbed headlines for appearing in a Historical Marathi Film Shivrayancha Chhava which was released on 16 February 2024. It stars Bhushan Nanasaheb Patil, Chinmay Mandlekar and Ayesha Madhukar. The film is made under the banner of Everest Entertainment Marathi and AA Films.
