Indian Idol is a singing reality show of Sony channel, which was telecasted from 12 October 2019 to 24 February 2020, the show was judged by Vishal Dadlani, Himesh Reshammiya and Neha Kakkar. Aditya Narayan hosted this show. The show auditions held in big cities like Jaipur, Bhubaneshwar, Guwahati, Dehradun, Chandigarh, Kolkata and Lucknow. Anu Malik was also part of this show but due to controversy he removed from the show.
Plot
The Indian Idol show is to provide a platform to new talented singers, so that they can put themselves in front of this world. It is judged by famous celebrities, which increases their chances of succeeding.
Form the audition, 15 contestants are selected for this show. Those who compete with each other and every week one contestant get eliminated. Elimination is done on the basis of votes of the judge and the public. In the end, there are only 3 or four contestants left, from whom the winner is chosen.

Controversy
Bollywood singer Sona Mohapatra accused Anu Malik during MeeToo campaign. She is continuously speaking on this issue during the shooting of Indian Idol 11, after which Anu Malik was removed from the show. Even before this, Anu has also been removed from Indian Idol 10. The information about which composer will replace him, is not released yet.
