Atisha Naik is an Indian film and television actress and a well known theatre. She made her Bollywood debut with the Pran Jaye Par Vachan Na Jaye alongside Mahesh Manjrekar in the year 2003. She has been in the field of acting since she was 8 years old when she made her debut in a Marathi play, Good Bye Doctor as a child artist. Atisha played an important role of Sarpanch in the national award-winning film Deool.
Biography
Atisha Naik was born in Mumbai, Maharashtra to a middle class Maharashtrian Hindu family. She started her career a very young age with theatre plays. She has worked more than a thousand stage plays in initial struggle period. She has worked in many television shows like Bun Maska, Abhalmaya, Hasa ChakatFu, Aakrit, Ya Gojirwanya Gharat, Puneri Misal, Pinjara, Dilya Ghari Tu Sukhi Raha, Manasicha Chitrakar To etc.
She rose to fame after playing character of Elachi in black comedy film Praan Jaye Par Shaan Na Jaye directed by Sanjay Jha. The film depicts various aspects of chawl culture in Mumbai. She subsequently worked in popular films like Wake Up Sid, City Of Dreams, Gangubai Kathiawadi and Wake Up Sid.
