Dr. Ilayaraja T is a collector from the state of Tamil Naidu, who became the Collector of Indore after serving as the Collector of Rewa and Jabalpur. He has been given the responsibility to lead and manage Indore, replacing the previous Collector, Manish Singh.

Biography
Ilayaraja is a resident of Tamil Nadu who achieved great success in 2009. After studying Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry at Madras Veterinary College, he managed to break the IAS exam. He has since gone on to work in several fields including IAS, Health, Education, and Smart City. Ilayaraja began his career as a district collector in Rewa. In 2009, he was appointed to the role of collector in Jabalpur.
In November 2022, he was transferred to Indore on the orders of the Chief Secretary, MP Government Iqbal Singh Bais. Before this, he worked as an assistant collector in Seoni and then as the CEO of District Panchayat Rajgarh.
