Puru Chibber made his film debut in 2001 with Choo Lenge Akash as a child actor. He then also appeared in movie The Warrior starring Irfan Khan in 2001. Puru acted in romantic-comedy film Band Baja Baaraat in 2010. He played the role of Mika, Ranveer Singh’s best friend in the movie. He has appeared in several movies like Meinu Ek Ladki Chaahiye, A Scandall and Bhoomi.

Puru made his tv debut with Rishta.com in 2011 as Mihir. He got recognition from Khote Sikke and Pavitra Rishta in 2011. He was also seen depicting the role of Rocky Singh in Beintehaa, Karan in Do Dil Bandhe Ek Dori Se, and Ketan Mehta in Naamkarann.
