Akanksha Dubey was an Indian Bhojpuri actress, dancer and social media influencer tragically passed away on the 26th of March 2023 at the age of 25. Akanksha had been found lifeless in her hotel room located in Varanasi. She had traveled there to film her movie, “Laik Hoon Main Nalaik Nahin” and no suicide note was found in that room.
Akanksha began her career with frequent posts of dance and acting videos on TikTok and Instagram. Her content proved to be a hit, earning her a loyal fan base on both platforms. Akanksha Dubey was born on 21 October 1997 in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh. Her parents name is Chhote Lal Dubey and Madhu Dubey. From an early age, Akanksha and her family moved to Mumbai. Her parents had dreams of her becoming an IPS Officer, yet Akanksha was drawn to the world of acting and dancing. She nurtured her passion and pursued a career as an actor. She went to Mumbai University to pursue her Bachelor’s degree in Arts.

Career
Akanksha started to make a name for herself by sharing dance and acting videos on TikTok and Instagram. Her content quickly earned her a large and dedicated following on both platforms, and she’s also been having great success with her YouTube channel where she uploads vlogs and short films. After than, she got chance in Zee 5 TV serial Ghar Ki Lakshmi Betiyaan.
Later, Akanksha made her debut in Bhojpuri film industry with Khesari Lal Yadav’s film Meri Jung Mera Faisla in 2019. In that movie, Akanksha was playing the role of Supporting actress. Akanksha has established herself as a leading figure in the Bhojpuri film industry since her debut, having been cast in the lead role of Mujhse Shaadi Karogi for 2021 and furthering her acting career with roles in popular films such as Dabang Sarkar, Kasam Paida Kame Wale Ki 2, Rocky Handsome, Veero Ke Veer, Saajan, The Fighting King and many more.

Death Cause
On 26 March 2023, Akanksha was found dead in a hotel room, hanging from the fan. Her postmortem report showed that while her body did not contain any trace of alcohol or drugs, it did contain 20 ml of an unidentified liquid. In addition, there were clear signs of injury on her wrists and the mucous membrane in her stomach was blocked.
Akankshaโs mother Madhu Dubey has has named two people responsible for the tragic death of her daughter. Samar Singh and Sanjay Singh were blamed by her family for Akanksha’s murder. Suppositions of foul play have been shared by the deceased actress family with her lawyer Shashank Shekhar Tripathi asserting that Akanksha was killed.
Lawyer Shashank Shekhar Tripathi has requested the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Yogi Adityanath, to launch a CBI investigation pertaining to Akanksha Dubey’s case.
