Samar Singh was born on 12 June 1989 in Mehnagar, Azamgarh. He has done his schooling from Gram Samaj Inter College, Mehnagar. After completing school, Samar went to Veer Bahadur Singh Purvanchal University where he pursued his Bachelor’s degree in Arts.
Samar was raised in an academically-inclined family from Azamgarh, Uttar Pradesh. From an early age, he had an insatiable passion for music, and would frequently take part in music and cultural programs at school. As his college years progressed, Samar began to take a step further and began performing musical shows across small cities and towns.

Career
Samar began his career in 2002 where he released his first Bhojpuri Holi track E Gol Gol Ka Ha. However, it failed to emerge as a success. After then in 2015, Samar released his second song Ganna Ke Ras which quickly gained traction and has now amassed more than 86 million views on YouTube.
In 2016, Samar gained fame when his song Ratiya Kaha Bitawala Na became a hit. Since then, he has released many well-liked songs like Naihar Me Dhan Katvayenge, Kakari Bhail baa Kamriya Lapak ke, Dharawela Tharesar, Konva Mein Suta Ke Chal Gailu, Gurahi Chalebiyaz and many songs.
After brief career in musical industry, Samar ventured into the world of cinema in 2018 with a minor role in the Bhojpuri film Ishq To Pagalpanti Hai. Samar later made his acting debut in the romantic drama movie Vinashak in 2019, in which he starred alongside Anjana Singh.
