Malhotra started her career as a model and featured in various advertisements for beauty and cloth product brands. Before she debuted as an actor in the television industry, she worked in theatre for three years. In 2015, she started her career as a supporting actress in Telegu Kumari 21F, she later proceeded to work in other films, like Odikku Ondi (2018), Hotel Milan (2018).
