Manali Manshia Dey is an Indian film and television actress. She mostly works in Bengali films and TV serials. She made her acting debut in the Bengali film Kali Aamar Maa in 1999. Later she made her television debut in the television serial Neer Bhanga Jhor in 2008. She won Tele Academy Award of Best Actress for Nakshi Kantha in 2019.

Manali Manisha Dey was born on 6th May, 1991 in Picnic Garden, Kolkata to parents Nitai Dey and Manisha Dey but later moved from there. She completed her secondary education from Oxford House, Ballygunge, Kolkata. She had started her acting career in a very young age and became extremely busy. This made her unable to continue her study in the regular mode and so, she was admitted to Amrit Academy, Kankurgachi, which is a private open-board school and completed her higher secondary examination.

Career

Manali made her acting debut in the Bengali film Kali Aamar Maa in 1999, where she played the role of a child. She worked in a Bengali television serial Neer Bhanga Jhor, which was aired on Star Jalsha and since then she had been part of many Bengali serials like Mohana, Checkmate, Sokhietc. Manali is recently seen in Bengali serial Dhulokona as Tuni. The show airs on Star Jalsha and talks about Tuni, the care-taker of a middle-class joint family gets to know Lalon, the local-car driver of the same family and they soon fall in love. Apart from a beautiful love story, ‘Dhulokona’ narrates the tale of a simple joint-family, its roots, and beliefs and how everyone is necessary for it to be called ‘family’.

She has also been seen in many films such Rajdhori (2009), Sthaniyo Sangbad (2010), Nimki Fulki(2017), Gotro (2019) etc.
