Sunita Rajwar is an Indian actress who has contributed to the film and television industry and is now on the OTT Platform. She is best known for her work in Kedarnath, Shubh Mangal Zyada, Stree, and Panchayat. She started her Bollywood film career with the movie Main Madhuri Dixit Banna Chahti Hoon in the year 2003. Sunita played the role of Chakli in the movie Ek Chalis Ki Last Local (2008). Sunita has also received Filmfare OTT Awards in 2021 for Best Supporting Actress: Comedy.

Education
The actress completed her schooling from Nirmala Convent School and later enrolled herself at Khalsa National Girls Inter College of Haldwani. But, she left the studies in middle and moved to Delhi to pursue acting from National School of Drama. During the graduation, she acted in various plays like, Janm Jay Ka Nag Yagya, Do Aurtein, Lady From the Sea, and The farm etc. Sunita also completed her post graduation from D.B.S. Kumaun University, Nainital.

Sunita made her debut in television industry by the serial Tum Pukaar Lo in the year 2001, followed by the TV serials Sanjhi (2002) and Achanak 37 Saal Baad (2003). The year 2003 has special place in her heart as she started is Bollywood career in the movie Mai Madhuri Dixit Banna Chahti Hu. After that, she gave many popular movies like Budhha Mar Gya (2007), Ek Chalis Ki Last Local (2008), The White Elephant (2009), Hiss (2010), KAFAL: wild berries (2013) etc.
Sunita has worked with popular stars from late. Sushant Singh Rajput to Ayushman Khurana and has given many blockbuster movies such as Kedarnath (2018), where she played the role of daddo. She was part of Stree (2018), Bala (2019), Subha Mangal Zyda Saavdhan (2020) which was directed by Hitesh Kewalya.

Personal Life
During her college days, Sunita dated the actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui. The affair didn’t last long, the relationship soared as the actor stated in his memoir “An Ordinary Life” the reason was that she didn’t wanted to be with some struggling actor. But Sunita has denied these allegations and slammed a defamation notice on the actor for revealing there intimate details in public without her consent.
Sunita has stated that before tying the knot with Alok Singh, she told her husband about her affair with Nawazuddin. But her parents and in-laws were unaware about the situation. She said that this has caused irreparable damage to her life.
