Netflix’s new trailer for Chupa, a fantasy adventure film, has been making waves and is gathering the admiration of viewers. Led by three young actors – Evan Whitten, Ashley Ciarra and Nickolas Verdugo – the story follows a teenage boy and his cousins on their visit to Mexico. While exploring, they come across a chupacabra inhabiting their grandfather’s shed.

Who is Ashley Ciarra?
Ashley Ciarra is a child actor and model. She rose to fame by playing Luna’s character in feature film Chupa, directed by Jonás Cuarón. She starred in the lead role alongside Demián Bichir, Christian Slater, Evan Whitten and Nickolas Verdugo.

Jonás Cuarón, co-writer of the Oscar-winning film “Gravity” and son of “Roma” director Alfonso Cuarón, has directed the adventure-fantasy film Netflix’s Chupa, which follows 13-year-old Alex (Evan Whitten) on an exciting journey from Kansas City to Mexico to meet his grandfather Chava (Demián Bichir). During his stay at his grandfather’s ranch, Alex makes a new furry, mythical friend and embarks on a series of thrilling adventures. Chupa will be available for streaming on April 7.
