Laisel Rai is an Indian child singer. She is known for participating in Star Plus singing reality show Taare Zameen Par, judged by Shankar Mahadevan, Jonita Gandhi and Tony Kakkar. She is just 11-year old little girl but possesses a voice of that of a nightingale and vocals of a professional singer.
Biography
Laisel Rai was born on 18 September 2009 in Jalandhar, Punjab to a middle-class family. Her mother’s name is Ananta Rai and her father’s name is Raju Rai. She has a younger brother Krish Rai, who is 5 years old. Laisel currently studying in Class 6th in Dayanand Model School, Model Town, Jalandhar, Punjab.
Laisel has given auditions for several talent reality shows. She has been a contestant in India’s popular singing reality show Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Li’l Champs in 2019. She was selected as the Top 16 finalists of the show but couldn’t make it to the finals and got eliminated on 24th March 2019. Laisel has also performed on the stage of Riyasat Ki Awaz. In 2020-21, she participated in the show, ‘Taare Zameen Par’ aired on Star plus.
