The movie is starring Demián Bichir and Christian Slater and directed by Jonás Cuarón.
Verdugo’s mother Mari Gallegos is a YouTuber and popular for channel The Mami’s Boys on TikTok and Instgram. He is third among four brothers named Yibi, Sabastian and Mariano.

Jonás Cuarón, co-writer of the Oscar-winning film “Gravity” and son of “Roma” director Alfonso Cuarón, has directed the adventure-fantasy film Netflix’s Chupa, which follows 13-year-old Alex (Evan Whitten) on an exciting journey from Kansas City to Mexico to meet his grandfather Chava (Demián Bichir). During his stay at his grandfather’s ranch, Alex makes a new furry, mythical friend and embarks on a series of thrilling adventures. Chupa will be available for streaming on April 7.
