Harshika Singh is a 2012 batch IAS officer. She has been appointed as the Corporation Commissioner for Indore taking the place of Pratibha Pal, who is now the Collector of Rewa. Before her position in Indore, Harshika had served in Madla as a Collector. Her husband, Rohit Singh, is also an IAS officer, and is currently serving as District Collector of Narsinghpur.
Biography
Harshika Singh was born in Ranchi, Jharkhand and attended Dav Hehal School. She later enrolled in St. Xavier’s College to pursue her bachelor’s degree in arts. In 2008, Harshika traveled to the London School of Economics and Political Science for her MSc degree. Finally, she passed the UPSC exam in 2012 and achieved the coveted post of IAS.
Harshika, an IAS officer of the 2012 batch, is married to Rohit Singh, another IAS officer, and is the daughter-in-law of Lal Bahadur Singh and Rewa, who previously served as the District President in Rewa.
