Career
Ankur started working as a financial consultant at NIS Sparta in year 2004. After a year, he left the job and started working with A.T. Kearney. He was part of ATK’s Consulting Team in India and handled projects across multiple industries, specifically Media & Entertainment, Retail, Real Estate, Private Equity and Oil & Gas. He also worked sometimes in Dubai and New York.
In 2007, Ankur joined as Co-Founder of Accentium started by Vivek Pahwa. Later he founded own startup Groupon, which provides a global marketplace where people can buy just about anything, anywhere, anytime. Ankur founded nearbuy.com in 2015 and was the CEO until 2019.
