Parag started his career with the Indian comedy show The Great Indian Laughter Challenge in year 2005 which broadcasted on the channel Star One. The judges of the show included popular faces like Shekhar Suman and Navjot Singh Sindhu. Through the show, he managed to bag a lot of experience and fame and stood as the sixth runner-up of the show. His career took off after the show and was seen making guest appearances in the comedy shows like Comedy Circus.
