Harnaaz Sandhu is an Indian model who crowned as Miss Universe 2021. She is third model who won the title of Miss Universe after actors Sushmita Sen in 1994 and Lara Dutta in 2000. Harnaaz represented India at the 70th Miss Universe 2021, held in Eilat, Israel. She was also winner of Miss Diva Universe 2021. Harnaaz started her career as a model and initially participated in various fashion events and beauty pageants.
Biography
Harnaaz Kaur Sandhu was born on 3 March 2000 in Chandigarh, India to a Punjabi Sikh family. She has done her early eduction from Shivalik School in Chandigarh and later did higher Education from Government College Girls Chandigarh. Harnaaz is currently pursuing her Masters degree in Public Administration.
Harnaaz was always passionate about modeling and got her first major breakthrough when she was crowned as Miss Chandigarh in year 2017. She subsequently participated in Miss Max Emerging Star India in 2018, held at Infinity Mall in Malad, Mumbai. Its finale was attended by well-known celebrities like Dabbo Ratnani, Terence Lewis. In 2021, Harnaaz took part in beauty pageant Miss Universe India 2021 and emerged as winner of the competition. Consequently, she got opportunity to represent Indian in Miss Universe 2021.
