Prem Chand Bairwa, born on 31 August 1969, is an Indian politician affiliated with the Bharatiya Janata Party. He is currently serving as Deputy Chief Minister of Rajasthan State. He holds the position of a member of the Rajasthan Legislative Assembly, representing the Dudu Vidhan Sabha constituency in Jaipur, Rajasthan.
Biography
Premchand Bairwa, a resident of Srinivasipura in Maujmabad tehsil, hails from a typical Dalit family. His political journey commenced with the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad, and in 1995, he dedicated his efforts to the Dudu Block Organization. Serving as a Zilla Parishad member from Ward 15 of Dudu in 2000 marked a significant milestone in his political career. Subsequently, he assumed roles such as the Jaipur District President of the SC Morcha and the Divisional General Secretary for the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).
In the year 2013, when the Dudu assembly was reserved for the SC category, Premchand Bairwa emerged victorious by defeating the Congress candidate with a substantial margin of over 33 thousand votes.
