Magnus Martin is an American musician, singer and songwriter. He is best known for participating in NBC’s television singing reality show The Voice Season 23. The show is coached by Kelly Clarkson, Blake Shelton, Chance the Rapper and Niall Horan. He is originally from Virginia Beach, VA.

Magnus is 25-year-old singer from Chesapeake, VA. He is graduated from Norfolk State University.
Career
He has been dedicated to music since Magnus won his high school’s talent show singing “All of Me” by John Legend. He was a part of the Voices of Fire Choir, which was featured on the Netflix series of the same name that premiered in November 2020.
The show followed Bishop Ezekial Williams, uncle of Pharrell Williams, as he created a renowned gospel choir. Through the choir, he was able to perform on both “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” and “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert”.
In 2023, Magnus performed a soulful rendition of the Hall & Oates classic, “Sara Smile” during Blind Auditions of The Voice 23. He got an early chair turn from Chance the Rapper.
Despite getting just one chair turn, He got praise from the other judges, Clarkson, Niall Horan and Blake Shelton.
About the Season 23 of The Voice:
The Voice returned with a brand new installment. This season will feature some of the best and brightest singing talent from all over the country, as well as a star-studded line-up of coaches which include Kelly Clarkson, Niall Horan, Chance The Rapper and OG coach Blake Shelton who will be bidding farewell to his long-time tenure after this season.

Each episode will see contestants battling it out to impress one or more of the coaches in order to move to the next round. For those that are chosen by more than one coach, they must use their charm and talents to convince the judges on why they should be part of their team.
This year’s installment is bound to be exciting as the show features an array of unique contestants from different walks of life and cultures. Each week the stakes will get higher as contestants give it their all with the hopes of making it through to the finals.
