Babla Kochhar is an Indian actor, anchor, and voice-over artist. He has worked numerous Bollywood film including Veere Di Wedding (2018), Jai Mummy Di (2020) and Fittrat (2019). Kochhar is also quite active in television and web series.
Biography
Babla Kochhar was born in Noida, Delhi, India. He is currently living in Mumbai, Maharashtra. Kochhar made his acting debut with television series Sea Hawks in 1997, in which he played a supporting role. This show was broadcast on Doordarshan and was one of the famous shows of that time. In the same year, he was cast for a state-run television show Dastoor. Soon after that, he hosted a reality show The Career Show. He also worked in a few episodes of DD National crime serial Detective Karan.
In 2010, Kochhar acted in Koi To Ho Ardhnarishwar, which was a television drama based on a novel written by Dr. Vishnu Prabhakar. After that, he worked in a Zee TV’s serial Zindagi Ki Mehek in 2016.
In 2018, he was seen in a Bollywood film Veere Di Wedding as Swara Bhaskar’s onscreen father. He has acted in some famous movies like Fitrat (2019) and Jai Mummy Di (2020).
Apart from these, he has also been featured in some advertisement campaigns for TVC Holland Tractor, Super talks, etc., and seen in a web series, ‘Leila’ in 2019. He worked as a voice-over artist in a Punjabi TV serial as well as in animation films.
