Jermelle Simon is an American actor, producer and fitness trainer. He is best known for laying role of Bernard Upshaw in Netflix’s television series The Upshaws. He was also part of many series including Tattoo Nightmares, Confessions of a Hollywood Bartender and Animal Kingdom as a supporting actor.
Biography
Jermelle Simon was born in Florence, South Carolina to a shipyard father and nurse mother. He always had deep passion for acting. After studies, he moved to Hollywood California and got first acting role in the theater play ‘Silence,’ directed by Don B Welch. He later worked in his other plays like Livin Aint easy, Dying Aint Beautiful and Walking By Faith.
Simon made his Hollywood debut through the film Why We Pray as Chase Jones in 2011. He subsequently played important recurring roles in series like Tattoo Nightmares, Confessions of a Hollywood Bartender and Animal Kingdom. In 2021, he played main role of Bernard in popular TV series The Upshaws starring Mike Epps, Kim Fields, Diamond Lyons and Khali Spraggins.
