Sameer served as the Director of Search Product Development at Shopzilla from 2001 to 2007. Mime360, a platform for delivering online social networking, was the firm that he created in 2009 and finally acquired by Flipkart. He has been Vice-President and First Vice-President of the Electronic Commerce Giant in many fields, including marketing and technology. In 2015, he created the PhonePe digital portfolio platform, where he is now the CEO. The program is currently offered in over 11 Indian languages to users.
