Ajay performed on many singing show where he found interest in singing. He give audition for Dil Hain Hindustani in 2018 and selected for the show. Ajay Reached to final of this show.
Just after this show Ajay give audition in front of A.R. Rahman, and got selected. In episode 4, he show first time and performed with Pavithra Balaji on the song Tere Bin. unfortunately he failed to impress judges.
