Vishal Karwal is an Indian actor. He is famous for role of Krishna in the Television series Dwarkadheesh Bhagwan Shri Krishna and Rangrasiya. He has also acted in Bollywood film like 1920 London, Aappan Pher Milange, Brahmastra and Baaraat Company. Vishal has been active in acting industry since 2006.
Biography
Vishal Karwal was born on 18 November 1984 in Palampur, Himachal Pradesh to a Punjabi family. He has completed his schooling from Dalhousie Public School (boarding school), Dalhousie. Vishal went to pursue a career in Computer Engineering however he didn’t become an engineer. He lost his interest in science and decided to become a pilot. In order to materialize his dream, he underwent a commercial pilot training in Texas, USA. Later coming back to India his heart set on becoming an actor and started acting for Indian Television Industry.
In 2006, Vishal first appeared on TV as a participant of the TV reality show MTV Roadies 4 however didn’t manage to win the show. He was seen in many reality shows like Fear Factor (2007). He emerged as the winner of show MTV Splitsvilla 1. His first appearance in a TV serial was in 2009 in Bhagyavidhaata. He was immediately recognized for his potential. He did more than 3 mythological dramas in Hindi and portrayed Lord Krishna in 3 of them, namely, Dwarkadheesh Bhagwan Shri Krishna, Naagarjuna – Ek Yodha and Paramavatar Shri Krishna.
Besides, he has worked in several other noted shows like Jamaai Raja, Encounter, Rangrasiya, Rishton Se Badi Pratha, etc. He has also made appearance in the famous reality show Bigg Boss in 2012.
