She started her career with television series Kora Kagaz in 1998 and played important role of Yogita in the show. After that She has also appeared in Hum Saabh Bharati, Ghar ki Lakshi Betiyaan, Choti Si Zindagi Sasural Simar Ka, Mahabharat, and Yeh Pyaar Na Hoga Kaam. Gautam recently cast for Zee TV serial Hamari Wali Good News. She is playing the mother’s character for Srishti Jain.
