Then-after she completed her graduation from Calcutta University. Her desire to work in Hindi television brought her from Kolkata to Mumbai.

Chakraborty started her television career in 2015 with the television show Badi Devrani. In this show she was cast opposite Mudit Nayar. After which she also appeared in ‘Khwaabon Ki Zamin Par’ (Zindagi channel) and ‘Peshwa Bajirao’. However, she became a household name as ‘Krishna’ from Star Plus show Krishna Chali London.
